By accessing or using the Modexia API, SDKs, Gateway, and related services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Description of Service

Modexia provides financial infrastructure and APIs for autonomous AI agents, including wallet creation, payment execution, and the x402 payment protocol. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Services at any time, with or without notice.

3. Account Registration and Security

You must register for an account to access certain features. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys.
  • All activities that occur under your account.
  • Promptly notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account.

Modexia will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful or prohibited purpose. You may not:

  • Use the Services to facilitate illegal transactions, including but not limited to money laundering, funding terrorism, or dealing in prohibited goods.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services or related systems/networks.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Services.

5. Fees and Payment

Use of certain Services is subject to fees as outlined on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to change our fees upon reasonable notice. You are responsible for paying all applicable taxes associated with your use of the Services.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Modexia, its directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services.
